There was nothing any further. The sickness, she said, lasted for six or seven months by the time she was, well, fixing the baby's, which problem was that much harder. She was guarded. Of course, the dead time for doing that. So then she found out she had all of these, um, brothers and sisters and the phone calls were fewer. It's a little late. And I thought I was losing both of them. In fact, when I would go down and have any touch with the McDonalds-- we got introduced to them-- I tried to talk to her about it. She remembers Marty always lightening the mood in their house as a kid. And it was then that I started thinking, oh, my gosh, you know, my life would have been so different.
